April 27, 2008The Second Part Of My Music HomeWork Seen As It Wouldnt Let Me Put It All Onto One JournalM.Shadows: He was born 31st July 1981 as Matthew Charles Sanders. As well as singing he can play the guitar and piano. At a young age he started to play the piano but when he was a teenager he wanted to be in a rock/punk band and wanted to learn how to play the guitar but he didn’t know that being able to play the piano would come in use in later life. Matt has been known to have a temper on him but has now learned to control his anger. His anger has resulted in him being in a load of fights. He has been kicked out of two schools in Huntington Beach one was for smashing a woman’s car after a sixth grade pizza party and another for damaging campus property which resulted in the principal dying of a heart attack after this incident Matt was known as ‘the kid who killed the principal’. He got his name because he was the darker kid in school hence ‘shadows’ and he wanted Matt to be in his name but not as Matt so it was shortened down to M then to M.Shadows. When he was in the band ‘Successful Failure’ he wrote the song ‘Streets’ which is the album ‘Sounding the Seventh Trumpet’. Over the years Matt’s vocal range has changed. In the Waking the Fallen era Matt burst a blood vessel in his voice box when he was on tour and resulted in him having throat surgery. Some people say because of this is why Matt stopped screaming, this isn’t true after the band made ‘Sounding the Seventh Trumpet’ they decided that they wanted to make a record of half screaming and half singing and the record after that to be all singing. Some of his biggest influences include Megadeth, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Pantera and Guns ‘n’ Roses. Zacky Vengeance: He was born 11th December 1981 as Zackary James Baker. He is a self thought guitarist. When he was thirteen he picked up his dad’s guitar and began to teach himself but his dad’s guitar was a right handed one and Zacky is left handed he got round this problem by playing it upside down. If he wasn’t in Avenged Sevenfold Zacky said that he would probably be a professional baseball player as he has a scholarship for it. He is half German and half Italian. He has the stage name Zacky Vengeance because he wanted to get revenge on people and wanted to be the one in the band with the middle finger up. Before he was in Avenged Sevenfold he was in a band called MPA which stood for Mad Porno Action. When they played a concert at Huntington Beach High Zacky was arrested for stealing the microphones. He has a clothing company called ‘Zacky V Presents’, the current design features is the popular ‘Vengeance University’ logo which he designed himself. His clothing line currently features t-shirts and belt buckles featuring his trademark ‘Est. 1666’ which is 1999 flipped upside down and this is the year in which Avenged Sevenfold started. He came up with the abbreviation of Avenged Sevenfold which is A7X, saying that the A stood for Avenged and the 7X stands for seven times. He got his first tattoo when he was about 18. He says that he likes getting tattoos because he wants to be that kind of guy that you see in a nice car and people look down on you but are actually successful, he also likes tattoos because he says they make him look buffer than he actually is. Synyster Gates: He was born 7th July as Brian Elwin Haner Jr. As well as playing the guitar he can play the piano, organ and keyboards. The schools that he has attended are Ocean View High School in Huntington Beach, Mayfair High School in Lakewood, California as a teenager and then the Musicians Institute in Hollywood. He got his name when driving around in a park with The Rev drunk when he suddenly said ‘I’m Synyster Gates and I’m awesome’ He plays the piano in the song ‘sidewinder’. Some of his biggest influences in playing the guitar include Django Reinhardt, Adam Aparicio, Dimebag Darrell, Slash, and Roddy. He used to be in a side project with The Rev called Pinkly Smooth but the band spilt up because Syn and Rev wanted to concentrate on Avenged Sevenfold. He also has a clothing line called ‘Syn Gates Clothing’. His clothing collection includes t-shirts, hoodies, fingerless gloves, badges and necklaces. Johnny Christ: He was born 18th November 1984 as Jonathan Lewis Seward. The reason that he joined the band was because their bassist at the time had to leave for reasons the band won’t say so he said that he would fill in for him while they finished their tour. He was discovered by Zacky’s younger brother Matt Baker who informed the band about him. Johnny claims that The Rev used to pick on him while he was in kinder garden. When he joined the band he was only signing ‘Johnny’ and he was like ‘what am I supposed to sign?’, if he wasn’t know as Johnny Christ he would probably would be known as Johnny Walker with him being an alcoholic but Zacky came up with the stage name that he how now, he said that ‘It sounded kind of ballsy and it would piss some people off....so everyone's going to hate that.’. The only drug that they guys won’t let him have is heroine because they think that he will over dose on it. Johnny is the shortest band member so the rest of the band tends to make jokes about his height. He is the only member to not have both his arms tattooed. As a fan I would like to ask them: How you do their hair? Do you enjoy traveling on the road? If you weren’t in Avenged Sevenfold what do you think you would be doing now? Do you think the name ‘Avenged Sevenfold’ will last as long as bands like Pantera and Metallica? Do you like having the reputation that you have? My Music Home Work...Im Well Proud Of It XDMusic in the 1970’s The 1970’s saw a new style of musical entertainment. This was influenced by the availability of popular entertainment sources, such as cinema, discotheques, television, records, tapes, live concerts and clubs. Although most of these were around before, the public had more money to spend on such things as entertainment. Following the troubled times of the previous decades, Vietnam had finished, the Cold War was nearly over, the feeling of freedom spread from the American teenagers, and had affected the teenagers of Britain and Europe. The effects of the 1960’s pop and teenage flower power culture, and anti war songs was beginning to fade. The giant bands of the sixties, like The Beatles, were being replaced by other younger bands. The cinema and TV companies were showing a more free lifestyle, compared to the latter years from the Second World War. Cinema and TV moved away from the more formal style of entertainment. Gone were suit and ties, and in came a more casual form of presenting. Censorship of cinema, TV, magazines and radio broadcasts were not as harsh. Nudity and bad language was not automatically censored. This allowed the young music and song writers more freedom. The Commodores and Earth Wind and Fire started the big 1970’s musical revolution, which became known as Funk music. This was American lead, and soon gave way to the disco era. The Commodores In the middle 1970’s the disco music culture was at its highest. Young people were spending record amounts of money on new clothes, drinking and records. The discotheque was now an essential part of the social scene. Traditional dance halls were being replaced by disco’s. In 1974 Abba won The Eurovision Song Contest with Waterloo. Abba went on to be one of the biggest record selling groups of the decade. ABBA Of course American artist’s and groups enjoyed great success in the UK at this time. Disco dance songs by Gloria Gaynor and Donna Summers lead to the phrase of Disco Diva. Lots of Hollywood films were made exploring the disco life style, the most famous being Saturday Night Fever, which catapulted the star John Travalto into stardom. The popularity of the disco genre brought massive record sales for many groups. Groups like The Village People, had big hits with Go West, Y.M.C.A. and Can’t Stop The Music. The Bee Gees were thrust into international stardom with the release of the album from the film Saturday Night Fever. The Village People Ziggy Stardust Freddie Mercury Ziggy Stardust, who later became better known as David Bowie and Elton John are just a small sample of the now internationally acclaimed artists, who became prominent during the 1970’s. Both are famous for their outlandish dress and performance styles. But one of the most famous will probably be Queen. This group was fronted by the lead singer Farrokh Bulsara, better known as Freddie Mercury. The group wore exclusively designed clothes and performed with a new energy rarely seen on stage before. Their popularity has lasted for decades, even after the death of Freddie Mercury from AIDS in 1991. The later years of the 1970’s saw the birth of Punk music and fashion. Best described as alternative, this was a way for the youth to show their contempt for the acceptable form of society. The fans of various groups like The Sex Pistols, Clash and the American band The Ramones openly showed their feelings of anti-establishment. The music was hard sounding, with short lyrics, often containing controversial language. The fashion consisted of brightly coloured hair, styled into spikes, chains and safety pins worn through nose and ear piercings, and torn clothes. Performances’ by the bands were unrehearsed and chaotic, often with band members spitting on the fans and throwing themselves on top of the crowd (crowd surfing). Fashion During the 1970’s The 1970’s fashion scene still had influences from the late 1960’s. Denim jeans and tie dye shirts were still in. Hippy style was still strong amongst the trendy, which included wearing hipster jeans, Afghan coats and Indian fabrics. Miniskirts were still popular, and by the mid 70’s their popularity was shared with the midi and maxi skirt. Neon Paisley pattern and bright coloured fabrics were used to make highly popular shirts, blouses skirts and dresses. Men’s shirt collars, ties and jacket lapels became more broader, and the introduction of high platform shoes completed the look. These shoes could have soles that were 4 to 5 inches in height. The late 1970’s saw the reintroduction of the men wearing three piece suits. The three piece suit was seen as an essential dress code for disco dancing, often being worn without a tie, and in some instances wearing only the pants and vest, copying the look of John Travalto in the film Saturday Night Fever. Punk fashion was copied by the fashionable teenagers, influenced by The Sex Pistols and the famous punk designer Vivienne Westwood. This punk look had a look of “do it yourself” about it, safety pins, spiked hair, dyed in bright colours, worn looking ripped clothes with old looking sneakers. A leader of this fashion was Malcolm McClaren, who was the manager of The Sex Pistols. McClaren had a clothes shop in the fashionable Kings Road in London, where he dominated the fashion look of the Punk followers. Vivienne Westwood Creations Afghan Coat Mini Skirt Historical Events of the 1970’s 1970 The last studio recording by the Beatles took place at their recording studio’s at Abbey Road. The album was called Let it Be, and was their 12th album release. June 1970 saw Edward Heath win the general election to become Prime Minister for the Conservative Party. 1971 66 people were killed at Ibrox Stadium, Glasgow whilst leaving the stadium after a Rangers, Celtic match. The victims were crushed under other people when a stairway collapsed. Decimalization of the old pound shilling pence took place in the UK. The old type of coins were replaced by new decimal coins. 1972 A Japanese soldier is discovered living in the jungle in Gualm, an island in the Pacific Ocean. Shoichi Yokoi a soldier fighting against the Americans in WW II, was never told that the Japanese army had surrendered. The first hand held scientific calculator went on general sale in America. Price $395. 1973 After millions were killed in fighting by the Americans and the Communist backed Vietnamese, The last American soldiers were brought out of Vietnam. The Sydney Opera House in Australia opens after 14 years construction. The opera house was opened by Queen Elizabeth II on October 20th. 1974 ABBA wins the Eurovision Song Contest held in Brighton, with a song titled Waterloo Richard Nixon becomes the first American President to resign. He was judged to be aware of an illegal act concerning the break in at the offices of his opponents offices called Watergate 1975 The Altair 8800 is released on general sale in America. This is looked upon as the birth of the micro computer. Bill Gates founds his new company Microsoft in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA. 1976 Agatha Christie dies aged 86. She was famous for writing crime novels, especially Hercule Poirot, and Miss Marple stories. She is believed to have sold more than 4 billion copies. In March Elizabeth II sends the first royal e-mail 1977 American U.S. Park Ranger Roy Sullivan is struck by lightning for the seventh time. He became known as “human lightning rod”, He died aged 71 in 1983 from self inflicted gunshot wounds. Stephen Biko dies whilst in South African police custody aged 30. Stephen Biko was an activist against apartheid in South Africa. 1978 Louise Brown becomes the first person born using in vitro fertilization, or IVF, commonly known as a test tube baby. Louise was born in Rochdale General Hospital. Pope John Paul I dies aged 65. Pope John Paul died after only being Pope for 33 days. 1979 May 4th saw the first woman to be elected as the British Prime Minister. Margaret Thatcher won the general election to become the Prime Minister for the Conservative Party. American spacecraft Pioneer 11 passed through the rings of Saturn. After successfully sending back photographs to NASA, Pioneer 11 will carry on travelling through the universe. In 1995 it’s last position before contact was lost, was 6.5 billion km. from Earth. This plaque was placed on Pioneer 11 to explain who we are, and where we are in the solar system, in the chance that aliens find the spacecraft. Task two The band that I chose to do is Avenged Sevenfold. They started in 1999 by Zacky Vengeance and M.Shadows. The original members were: M.Shadows (lead vocals), Zacky Vengeance (lead guitar), The Reverend Tholomew Plague (drummer) and Matt Went (Bassist), but the current members are M.Shadows (lead vocals), Zacky Vengeance (rhythm guitar), Synyster Gates (lead guitar, joined in 2000), The Reverend Tholomew Plague (drummer and sometimes lead vocals) and Johnny Christ (bassist, joined in 2002). They have brought out four albums and one EP. The albums that they have brought out is Sounding the Seventh Trumpet (2001), Waking the Fallen (2003), City of Evil (2005) and their self titled album (2007). The EP that they brought out was called Warmness on the Soul (2001). The singles that they have brought out is Warmness on the Soul (2001), Unholy Confessions (2004), Burn it Down (2005), Bat country (2005), Beast and the Harlot (2006), Seize the Day (2006), Critical Acclaim (2007), Almost Easy (2007), Afterlife (2008), Dear God (2008 – soon going to be released). They have released two DVD’s and one has just been filmed which is going to be a live performance in their home town of Huntington Beach which is going to be called ‘road to realization’ and is going to include some songs that weren’t featured on their most recent album. When the band first started out the genre of music was heavy metal but through the years the genre has changed to hard rock to now rock. They experiment with other genres of music like country; they used this genre in ‘Dear God’. They’ve dedicated some of their songs to people, such as Bat Country which was dedicated to the writer Hunter S. Thompson who inspired them to write the song from the book ‘fear and loathing in Las Vegas’, they dedicated the song to him because he died shortly after the song was written. They also dedicated the song betrayed to guitarist Dimebag Darrel who was shot three times in the head on stage 8th December 2004 while performing with Damageplan at the Alrosa Villa in Ohio, some of the lyrics in the song refer to the killing of him. Some of their songs are biblical references seen as their name came from the bible. The name Avenged Sevenfold came from the book of Genesis ‘And the LORD said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the LORD set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him.’ Avenged Sevenfold’s bestselling album is City of Evil which is their 3rd CD. The album was certified gold in January 2006 and ranked 63 on the October issue of magazine guitar world’s list of the 100 greatest guitar albums of all time. Awards that they have won are ‘Best New Artist’ at the 2006 MTV video music awards. Syn has won the ‘Young Shredder’ award of the year in the Metal Hammer awards in 2006 and the ‘Guitarist of the Year’ award by Totally Guitar Magazine in 2006. Matt has won an award but it isn’t official as Zacky awarded it to him in 2006 which is just a private joke between the band. The festivals that they have been a part of are Taste of Chaos, Warped Tour, Leeds and Reading, Rock AM Ring, Download and Kerrang High Voltage. I like their music because they are not afraid to try out different genres of music and include this in their albums. The band is all about change and through this they have become a better band and in which they learn through mistakes made. Each member has an extreme amount of talent and they put this talent in every song that you hear by them. The band is best friends with each other and this makes the band stronger and this shows through when you go and see them live at a concert. They aren’t about the fame, the awards or the life of being famous so this makes them a more meaningful band and they aren’t bothered about impressing other people. Each song that they write has all their input and always has a meaning behind it. Even though they are famous they’re the nicest people you could ever meet and down to earth and still haven’t forgotten that their fans are what made them who they are today. Avenged Sevenfold The Rev: He was born 10th February 1981 as James ‘Jimmy’ Owen Sullivan. As well as drums he can play bass, guitar, piano and is also a vocalist. The bands that he’s been is Pinkly Smooth which was a side project with lead guitarist Synyster Gates, they released one album called ‘Unfortunate Snort’, he was in Successful Failure which was lead singers Matt’s band, the only reason that he was in this band was because they were friends at the time, Rev thought that he was too good for Successful Failure which was true according to Matt and was in the band Suburban Legends for a while. He had visions for Avenged Sevenfold but never expected them to make it big. He was known as The Reverend Tholomew Plague before the band started so he decided to stick with the name. He got his first drum kit at the age of ten. Along with M.Shadows he attended catholic school but was expelled in 2nd grade he was also expelled from Huntington Beach High School all due to fights which were mostly Matt’s fault, he was also expelled from the reform school which resulted in his dropping out. When he was a teenager he was kicked out of his house for reasons unknown and was in and out of homes for a while, when he was able to get a job he lived where he worked for 6 months and lived in his car for a while, during this time guitarist Synyster Gates let him live in his garage for a while without his parents knowing. When he was about 20 he had a tendency to wear bright coloured kimonos. Some of his drumming influences include: Vinnie Paul from Pantera, Dave Lombardo and Paul Bostaph from Slayer. In Avenged Sevenfold’s self titled album he wrote the songs ‘A Little Piece Of Heaven’, ‘Brompton Cocktail’, ‘Afterlife’ and ‘Almost Easy’ he also features in these songs as well as ‘Critical Acclaim’, ‘Scream’ and ‘Lost’. He has been featured in other songs which are ‘strength Of the World’, ‘MIA’, ‘Chapter Four’, ‘Eternal Rest’ , ‘the Art of Subconscious Illusion’, ‘Lips of Deceit’ and ‘Crossroads’, in ‘Beast and the Harlot’ he plays the piano same with the longer version of ‘to End the Rapture’ and ‘Warmness on the Soul’. We Got Asked As Part Of The Project To Write About A Band That We Enjoy Listening To And Guess Who I Did (No Prizes Will Be Awarded)...Yesh It Was Avenged Sevenfold...Who Else Could It Be Lol. Well Im Finding It Quite Hard Coz I Could Write A Whole Fucking Book On Them Probably But I Cant Be Arsed So Ive Got To Scale It All Down To What Is Important And Key Events About The Band And As To Writing About Each Member...Ive Already Done Like A Page On Rev So Yeah It Is Quite Hard Putting The Important Stuff Coz Really It All Is Important In A Way. But I Think That Miss Will End Up Thinking That He's A Right Bastard After Reading It Coz Of Some Of The Things Ive Put. Ahh Well Shes Wrong If She Is Gonna Think That. April 11, 2008Chapter Eleven Of Turn The Other Way<My POV> Today the guys decided to go golfing to relax. To be honest I can’t really see them at a golf course but it’ll be fun to watch. Me, Laura and Joelle waited in the club house for them all to arrive. I got us all a drink and the guys a beer for when they arrived. They arrived shortly afterwards. I stood up. Rev came over to me and stuck his tongue down my throat. I guessed that he was in a frisky mood today. Typical of him but that’s one of the many reasons I’m attracted to him. He sat down and took one of the beers and drank. I sat on his lap. “I suppose we’ll be seeing a lot of that today?” Matt asked while putting the golf clubs on the floor. “Maybe” Rev answered with a quick grin. “I’ll take that as a yes then” “Here Matt drink your beer” I said while lifting one of the beers up for him to take. “Yes Matt be a good boy and drink your beer” Rev mimicked me. I giggled a bit, Matt shook his head and took the beer and drank. Rev finished his beer quickly; we waited for everyone else to finish their beer. While we were doing do I started to make out with Rev. After a little while I heard Matt cough to get our attention. I pulled away and turned around to face him. “We’re ready if you’re joining us” “Sweet” I said getting off of Rev’s lap and standing up. I felt Rev pull my top down then he stood beside me. We all walked to the golf course. I and Rev walked hand in hand, so did Laura and Zacky and Syn and Joelle. When we got there Matt set up. “Ladies first” “Go on Charlotte” Joelle said. “Why me?” “’Cause you know how to play” “So…” “You can show us” She grinned. I shook my head. “Fine” I took the golf club that Matt got out for me. I stood and was just about to hit the ball when I felt someone behind me. Then I saw their hands go on top of mine, I saw that it was Rev. “You’re holding the club wrong” he simply said. He adjusted my hands on the club, then he stepped me back. I think he guessed that my swing would be rubbish as well, which was true. He showed me how to do a proper swing but I fought it a little. “Don’t fight it” I didn’t and he showed me how to do an effective swing. Then I hit the ball. The golf ball went quite far but I didn’t get a hole in one. Rev didn’t let go of me, instead he wrapped his arms round me and swayed me side to side gently. I put my head on his left arm as he was doing so and smiled a little. <Matt’s POV> I brushed past Charlotte and Rev to take my turn. As I was about to hit the ball Joelle grabbed the ball and went running off with it. I started to chase her. I caught up to her quite quickly. She still wouldn’t give me the ball even though I asked. Then she threw it into the trees. “Thank you” I said sarcastically. “No problem” Joelle said while walking off. I went to where the trees were and started to look for the ball. A few times I got caught in the branches of the trees. I tripped up and landed in a load of mud. “Great” after a while I found the ball and made my way back to where everyone was. They were all chatting, well apart from Charlotte and Rev, they were making out. When everyone knew I was there and turned round they laughed. It wasn’t really that funny because I’d just ruined one of my favorite tops. Charlotte turned around to face me and saw that I was covered in mud. “I’m not even going to ask” “Nothing like what you’ll be thinking happened, I tripped up and now my top is fucked” “No it isn’t. When the mud dries you can brush it off” “Oh” “Yeah” I took the shot properly but didn’t get a hole in one. After a while we moved onto the next hole. <Joelle’s POV> By the point that we’d moved onto the second hole I was quite bored. I don’t see the point in golf or any joy in it. I hit the ball into the lake and try to retrieve the ball. I thought that I would be able to get the ball before it sank to the bottom but I ended up falling in. <Syn’s POV> I saw Joelle fall into the lake and struggling. I went running over to her. Everybody else just stayed where they were and watched. I pulled her out and placed my jacket round her. She grinned at me and showed me the golf ball. “I got the fucker!” she exclaimed, I chuckled. When we went back to everyone they were just standing there. By this point Charlotte and Rev had stopped making out. “Why are you all wet?” Charlotte asked. “’Cause the motherfucker of a ball decided to go into the lake” “Oh” <My POV> It was now my go to. When I hit the ball I made sure it went into the trees. I started to walk off towards them, I spinned round so I was walking backwards. Rev was following me. I grinned at him, he grinned back. He came running up to me and lifted me up over his shoulder. I just dangled there. He walked to where the trees are while whistling. When he got into the trees he put me down and started to snog me. I snogged back. He ended up backing me against a tree while snogging me; he started to rub against me quite hard. I couldn’t help but let a moan escape from my lips. A minute passed and I pushed him down onto the ground, he pulled me down with him while snogging. I guessed that he must have landed on the golf ball because he arched his back and moved something out of the way. He started to undress me but I came to my senses of where we were and pulled away. Rev gave me a confused look. “I’m not doing it here” I said while standing up and helping rev to his feet. We both brushed ourselves down. I picked up the ball and went back to everyone. I knew that they could probably guess what we were up to but I didn’t care. “Umm Rev you have a load of leaves and stuff in your hair” Laura told him. He started to search for the leaves in his hair. I ended up pulling them out. With the amount of hair spray that he puts into his hair it was kind of hard to get the leaves out. <Zacky’s POV> The place was a bit to quiet for my liking so I decided to make some noise. I picked up Johnny and ran to the lake while screaming ‘rawr’, then I threw him in. He went under then came back up. I knew that he didn’t like it but I couldn’t help but laugh at the expression on his face. “Not funny Zacky” “It is” before I knew what was happening I had been hit in the face by a load of mud. I wiped it off and threw it back at Johnny. It hit him in the ear. By this point everyone had come round to watch. When Johnny took another shot at me, he misaimed and it hit Laura. Charlotte started laughing. Laura threw the mud that was on her, it hit her in the head. “No way, that’s unfair” Charlotte wined while trying to get some of the mud out of her hair. Rev helped her. “That’s what you get for laughing at me” charlotte just stuck her tongue out at her. As I was walking past Matt tripped me up. I fell into the lake. I knew that Laura would come running over so I decided to stay under until she came. <Laura’s POV> I saw that Zacky didn’t come up when Matt tripped him over. I went over. “Zacky you ok?” I asked; there was a hint of worry in my voice. I asked again and before I knew what was happening I was in the lake with Zacky. He was laughing his head off. I messed up his hair. He ducked me under then let me up after a few seconds. I found it kind of funny. I shook my head so the water would go on him. As matt was walking past I grabbed him by the legs and pulled him. He fell in with a great splash, and got me, Johnny and Zacky even more wet then what we were. Syn came running over with Joelle over his shoulder and jumped in. We all laughed. There was just Charlotte and Rev that were dry. “You bunch of fucking nutters” Charlotte said while walking past the lake. As she was Johnny pulled her in. When she fell in she screamed. She tried to surface but couldn’t I guess that she couldn’t swim. Rev jumped into the lake and picked her up. “What the fuck do you think you were doing you idiot?” Rev asked in an angered tone. “Well I didn’t know that she couldn’t swim” Rev opened it mouth to add something but Charlotte cut him off. “It’s ok Rev, leave him it’s not his fault” “But” then he shut up. He made his way to the edge of the lake carrying charlotte and paced her on the grass. He was still in the lake. I noticed that Charlotte nodded to Matt. Just then Matt pulled Rev into the lake so he got soaked and his hair went a mess. We were all laughing. He got out of the lake soaking wet. “So you think this is funny do you?” he asked addressing Charlotte, she nodded. “Right you’re in for it” then he started to chase her. While they were running about someone from the golf club came to us all. “I would like you all to leave the golf course” he simply said. “Why?” I asked. “Because you are disrupting other people” “And…” Matt piped up. “Just leave” “No, we’ve come here for a day out and that’s what we intend to do” “Matt leave it we can find somewhere else to go” I said getting out of the lake. The rest of them followed. Matt didn’t say anything back. “Oi you two, when you’ve finished chasing each other we’re leaving!” I shouted over to Rev and Charlotte who were still running around. “Ok” charlotte said stopping. Rev tried to slow down but he couldn’t so he went crashing into Charlotte making her fall. They got up and made their way over to us hand in hand.

My Business Plan (Y)Right Well When I Was Next Door Like Proper Bored I Started To Have A Little Think To Myself And I Came Up With A Business Plan As The Title Says. So Then I Thought I Will Share It With All Yew Buzznetters Coz Thats The Way I Am HaHa Anyways....You Wanna Find Out What The Plan Is So Here It Is..... I Thought That I Would Start A Business Up For Stick On Mohawks Coz Probably People Want Them But Cant Wait Long For Their Hair To Grow If They Want A Really Tall One. Then I Thought That A7X Minus Johnny Would Come Across This Site And Think 'This Seems Cool And We Want Her To Make A Load Of Money' So They Would Make Sure That Johnny Would See This Site SomeHow And He Would Think 'Wow This Site Is Fucking Awesome Im Totally Gonna Order Some' So He Orders Loads In Different Styles And Shit But A7X Think 'Oh Why Not Trash Them And She'll Get A Load Of Money' So They Do And Johnny Keeps Ordering Them And I Get Really Rich Coz Of It And That The Site Is A Hit Coz Its Just Like So Cool That Your Pet Gold Fish Will Want One Too And Then It Will Turn Into A Punk Fish....HaHa It Will BE Punky Fish...Idk Why I Found That Funny...I Think It Has Summate To Do With The Coke A Cola I Had...But Anyways What Do You All Think About My Business Plan? April 9, 2008More Of The Story Of Rev Being A TeacherI started to feel a little unwell but I took no notice of it. When we got back to school I was feeling worse. I was feeling as though I would throw up any second. I got out of the car so did Mr. Sullivan. He looked at me. “Are you ok?” “Yeah, why?” “It’s just that you’ve gone really pale” “Oh” then I really did feel like I was going to be sick. I ran off to where there was a load of bushes and threw up. I felt Mr. Sullivan rub my back. “You sure you’re ok?” he asked me again. “Yeah” then he put his hand on my forehead to see if I had a temperature. “Come on I’ll take you home” “Why?” “’Cause you’ve got a temperature” “I’ll be fine” just as I said that I was sick again. I just missed being sick on Mr. Sullivan’s shoes. “Come on I’ll take you home” he insisted. I couldn’t be bothered arguing with him. He put his arm round me and guided me back to his car. As he was taking me back home I was sick a few times but it started raining just after he set off so by the time we arrived back at my house I was pretty wet. When I got back home I went back upstairs and changed into my night clothes. I came back downstairs and saw that Mr. Sullivan was standing in the hallway. “You should go back to bed” “No I’ll be fine down here” “No go back to bed and get some rest” he said sternly. “You’re not a doctor” “Yeah I am at this moment in time” he joked. I laughed a bit. “Dr Sullivan…doesn’t have a ring to it” “True, Dr Rev sounds better” “Rev?” “It’s my name” “Oh, Rev Sullivan…not a name you hear often” “Yeah that’s ‘cause Rev is my stage name” “Oh cool” “Yeah, Jimmy is my real name” “Nice” I thought that it was a cute name just like him. “Anyways bed you go” “No” then he grinned. I looked at him as if to say ‘what has popped into your head?’. “Well drastic measures are called for” he was still grinned. He approached me, he picked me up. I put my arm around his neck and he made his way up the staircase. “Which one is your room?” I pointed to which was my room. He made his way there then he laid me on the bed. The he looked round the room, looking at my posters. His eyes landed on my Misfits poster, it was of their logo. “Nice poster” he said pointing at the poster. “Thanks. You can take it if you like” I wasn’t really that bothered about them. “No it’s ok” “No take it, makes more room for more Kill Hannah stuff” “I still can’t, it’s yours not mine” I got up and took the poster down and gave him it, he still refused it. “I don’t mind; use it to decorate where you have band practice” “Fine” he said then took the poster from my hands. I laid back down. “Well I should be going” I didn’t want him to go. To be honest I would like the company. Normally I don’t like being in people’s company. “Oh” I simply said looking down. “Well I haven’t had a response like that” he chuckled. “What do you mean?” “You not wanting me to leave” “Oh, do you have to?” I know it was a stupid question but I was hoping that for some reason he could stay. “Well yeah but I’m not taking any lessons” “Oh, can’t you make some excuse up?” “Um yeah maybe” he said with a little smile

April 2, 2008More Of The Story Of Rev Being A TeacherWhen we entered the store they were playing a song that I haven’t heard of but they sounded good whoever they were. I looked over to where Mr. Sullivan was standing and he was smiling. “They’re playing my band” he said sounding joyful. “Cool, what’s the song called?” “Unholy Confessions” then he walked over to where the Pantera merchandise was. I went over to where the Kill Hannah merchandise was. There was nothing that took my fancy because I already had quite a bit of Kill Hannah merchandise. I walked over to where Mr. Sullivan was. “You ready to go then?” he asked turning to me. “Yeah” “Ok” he said putting his arm round my shoulder and then started to walk. I walked a little closer to him. With him being a tall man and me not being the tallest of people I felt a little shorter than normal. As we were walking to his car I saw a camera shop. I couldn’t help but pull away and look in the window. Mr. Sullivan came up behind me. I was looking at the prices hoping that there would be one there that I could afford. Of course there wasn’t, I sighed. “What’s up?” “I can’t afford any of the cameras” “Oh” he said while walking to the entrance of the shop. “What you doing?” I asked confused. “To look at cameras, you coming?” I walked up to him and we looked round the shop. I didn’t know how long we had left before we had to go. “Which one do you want?” I looked at him wondering why he was asking. “Just wondering” “Oh, that one” I said pointing to the one that I wanted badly. He nodded then walked off to the counter. He talked to the person behind the counter. She went off into the backroom and came out with a box. Curiosity had taken the better of me so I walked over to him. The woman got the camera out of the box and handed it to Mr. Sullivan then he handed it to me. I looked at him confused. “Well what do you think?” “Erm” I didn’t know what to say because I didn’t know what he was up to. “Do you feel comfortable with that camera?” I tried it out and I did. “Yeah” he took the camera off of me and handed it back to the woman. “I’ll take that one” she but the camera back in the box. Mr. Sullivan leaned on the counter and turned to face me and smiled. “What are you doing?” “Well you want the camera so I’m buying it for you” I was shocked. He couldn’t do that well not for me. “No you can’t do that” “Why?” “’Cause you’re wasting your money” “No I’m not” “Yeah you are, you need it for your band and things” “I can get the money later” buy this time he had bought the camera. He passed me the bag. “But there’s no point spending it on me” “Well if you feel guilty just think of it as a thank you present” “For what?” “For keeping me company all this week” I couldn’t really argue back so I took the bag. This was the nicest thing that anyone had done for me. I gave him a peck on the cheek as a thank you. Then I realized what I did. “Sorry” “It’s ok, it’s nice to be appreciated every once in a while” he said with a smile, I smiled back. We headed out of the shop. We got to his car a minute or two later. Sorry That It's A Bit Ghayy And Shitty But Ahh Well Lol
