Avenged Sevenfold are currently demoing material for the follow-up to 2007 self-titled fourth album.

The as-yet-untitled album will, according to said guitarist Zacky Vengeance, be the Orange County mob's most "personal and epic" album to date.

"[Since] we came off of the road we have been focused on only one thing; writing and preparing to record what to me is our most personal and epic Avenged Sevenfold album," says Vengeance. "The reason is the fact that everything happening around us in the entire world might be a once in a life time source of inspiration and direction. We have been harnessing every aspect of what makes A7X truly unrelenting and building off of that. I don't think we sleep too much anymore because of the excitement we feel while writing this album. Only a world spinning out of control could inspire the music and vision we have now.

"Once again it is fucking exciting," he added. "We will continue finalizing our songs until we feel every note does both You as well as Us justice. We are also in the final stages of solidifying our production team, studios and engineers so that the second the axe falls and the album is written we will spend day and night in the studio until it is complete. This album will definitely take you on a very dark journey."

  Lost in the woods I started to panic wondering if I would get out alive as a wolf howled which caused me to jump. Turning round in a circle I saw the flickering of lights, hoping that they were signs of life I started to make my way towards them while praying I wasn't getting deeper into the woods.

 As I was walking along and stepping over tree roots the wind started to pick up, blowing my hair across my face blinding me momentarily. After a while the feeling of paranoia came over me, I started to feel like I was being followed. Looking back I saw nothing but trees, blackness and mist. I shook my head and carried on making my way towards the lights. The howling of the wolves became more and more frequent as time passed and the mist became a lot thicker to the point I could only see about a meter in front of me. Suddenly a twig snapped behind me, turning around quickly I saw nothing. Not even an animal. The paranoia started to come back which ended up in me jogging through the woods but I couldn't hear anything apart from my own breathing and my footsteps on the ground. Up above me I saw the branches move, thinking it to be just the wind making them move I took no notice of it. Out of breath I sat down on a log, as I started to catch my breath back I heard something else breathing heavily. I knew that it wasn't an animal.

 "W-Who's there?" I stammered. As I thought no-one answered. The breathing seemed to get closer. Stepping back I fell over a log then the breathing stopped suddenly. I could feel my heart pounding in my chest, my breathing soon calmed down. Getting up I felt someone grab me from behind and put their arm round my neck. Automatically I tried to get free and scream. Looking down I saw that the arm was a mans and was covered in tattoos. Struggling more I saw another man jump down from a tree and land on his feet, both of his arms were covered in tattoos. I looked him straight in his piercing blue eyes and was unable to look away. Slowly he approached me while I kept looking him straight in the eyes. Holding out his hand the other guy let go of me and I made my way over to him and took his hand. Pulling me closer to him he gently brushed my hair away from my face and placed it behind my shoulder. Pressing his finger lightly on my neck I felt him starting to trace the vain on my neck. My head was telling me to try and run but I stood perfectly still as he leaned towards me. His mouth opened slightly and before I knew what was happening he sank his teeth into my neck. Gasping I started to feel my heart rate speed up as he slowly drank. Quickly the pain from the puncture went and was replaced by the feeling of being high.

Ok everytime this guy is on I laugh so much, he hosts his own show called Alan Carr Chatty Man. Its so funny that my sides end up hurting so much. If you haven't seen any of his stuff you should totally do so and tap his name into YouTube =).

Number Two: Lee Mack

I first got into him by watching a show called Not Going Out. It was so funny =) Me and Dad still watch it when we can. Im watching him now on Live At The Apollo. He does amazing impressions as well. Again watch him on YouTube.

Number Three: Lee Evans

He is just amazing and so funny. He's a laugh a minute. Ok he's a bit crude apprently but I still love him. His rants are ace. Just explain that bit at the end of a gig he gets his piano out and sings a song very good =). Me and my mates love him.

Number Four: Jason Manford

Nothern lad =). Only lives like arounf 30 mins away from me with the way my dad drives haha. I never heard of him until like...two months ago. Again he was on Live At The Apollo. Laughed loads. Not a lot of people knows who he is, but I make sure they do haha. Check him out on YouTube.

Number Five: Jack Dee

Ok as you can see he's pretty grumpy, but it is so fucking funny lol. He just like rants and rants. Before I didnt really like him but he's grown on me. He used to host Live At The Apollo.

 Miss. Hilton was still up at 2 in the morning making and planning the lessons she was going to do during with the students through the school day. Soon she was deep in the land of nod on her sofa.

 The students started to arrive and put their lunch boxes and coats on the peg with their name on. Most of them saying "hello" to Miss. Hilton. It wasn't long till her first lesson started which was about counting from one to ten. First of all she sat them down in front of her reading Yertle the Turtle by Dr. Seuss. All the children listened quietly with their legs crossed. Miss Hilton skimmed the children with her eyes and noticed James /Jimmy trying to look up her skirt. Matthew, the boy sat next to him nudged him in the side. Jimmy looked up and grinned innocently at her. She sent him to stand in the corner while she finished reading the book and set them their task and let Jimmy join in with the group.

 Soon the whole class was colouring in pictures of turtles that varied in size with the numbers from 1-10 on them. As Miss. Hilton walked around the room she saw a whole array of colours. Some turtles were multi-coloured, some normal and some coloured in very brightly. After about twenty minutes she told the class to stop. They did as she asked.

 "So who wants to put their number one on the number-line?" As soon as she asked all of the class' hands shot up in the air. One by one she picked out students to put on their number. One number from each group was picked.

 It soon was lunch for everyone. Sat round in a circle was Matthew, Zacky, Jimmy, Brain, Johnny, Rari (Zacky's best friend). They were all eating quietly. Across the room was Andy and Chris sat together eat their peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Matthew noticed them looking at him and his friends to he called them over and it wasn't long till they felt they were part of the group. Bored Matthew started to blow down the straw in his juice box. It started to fill up with air and the sound of bubbles popping inside amused him. Soon the juice went all over his face and down his top. Rari burst out laughing followed by the laughter of everyone else in the group.

 "Shut up it isn't funny." Matthew said wiping his face the best he could. No-one took any notice of him and continued to laugh as he started to sulk.

Ok I know I'm like really behind on this but I am catching up on them. There's only like a few to write then I'm all caught up. Im not going to write them for each day otherwise I will run out of ideas quickly.

 Nervously parents stood dotted around the new classroom on which there children were going to spend the rest of the year. Each and every one of them thinking the same thing 'I hope my son/ daughter will fit in'. Of course the children weren't fazed by this. Most already making their selves known apart from one; Chris, standing holding onto his mother's skirt.

 Strutting into the room the teacher entered the room. All eyes landed on her, most of the mothers unhappy with what they saw. Making her way to the front of the room the blonde female wrote her name on the chalkboard which read "Miss. Hilton". Turning on her heel she faced everyone and skimmed the room with her eyes. "Hi everyone I'm Miss. Hilton and I will be taking you all for the year." She said addressing the children. The mothers looked at each other with the same expression on their face. Miss. Hilton saw and tried not to let it bother her and carried on with her introduction. "Today I would like to get to know you all and you guys to get to know me. And parents you are welcome to stay for the day until your child has settled in." She said with a friendly smile.

 Slowly the anxious parents started to calm down and leave their child seen as they saw they were beginning to make friends and settle in. As soon as Chris' mother left his eyes filled up with tears and then burst into tears, crying for his mother. Miss. Hilton made her way over to him and knelt down so she was level with him.

 "I want my mommy." Chris cried out.

 "I know you do but it won't be long until you see her again." She said trying to comfort him. Chris hugged her and continued to cry; simply she wrapped her arms round him and started to comfort him. It wasn't long till he calmed down. From the corner of her eye she saw a black hair boy named Andy standing on his own looking at Chris.

 "Why don't you go talk to that boy over there?" She said pointing at Andy. Chris shrugged. Miss. Hilton rose to her feet and held out her hand which Chris held and she led him over to Andy and left them to talk.

 "Hi umm...I'm Andy." He said nervously.

 "Hiya, I'm Chris." He said looking at his feet.

 It didn't take long till Andy and Chris became friends and were playing together. All over the classroom the children where sat in groups and making friends. Miss. Hilton looked around the room and smiled because the day had gone even better than what she anticipated.

 The parents started to arrive and pick up their child some going over to Miss. Hilton to see how their child was. All left with a smile on their and face and their child telling them how their first day at Kindergarten had gone.

Plot:

Basically what's going to happen is that each day I will write a part to this and post it. It will be done as diary entries which will be done in 3rd person. It will be about what they guys do day to day.

I know it doesn't seem exciting but I have high hopes for this lol.

If your wondering what has happened to my other story I have been writing basically it has stopped because I cant think of the right things to put in. But I will tell you what was going to happen. Jade kept protecting Matthew but after a while Matthew gets cancer in the stomach, Matthew wants to get turned but Jade won't turn him. In the end the cancer spreads and he eventually dies. Yep that's basically it.

 "If they are real then prove it to me."

 "When we get home."

 "Now." Matthew insisted.

 "No Matthew when we get home." She said with a low growl in her voice as her temper started to flare uncontrollably. Shocked Matthew looked down like when a small child does when he or she has just done something wrong and is getting told off for it.  Under her breathe Jade counted to ten before her anger became worse.

 "Sorry, I didn't mean to react like that. It's just that I've been under a lot of pressure and stress lately." Simply he nodded not knowing whether or not she had calmed down.

 "I've calmed down." She confirmed. Matthew looked up at her; slowly a small smile graced his perfectly pink lips. She couldn't help but smile back. Quickly her eyes turned to a light purple. Stunned Matthew's jaw dropped, a confused expression spread across Jade's face, unknowing that her eyes had changed colour.

 "Your eye colour has changed."

 "Oh right it shows my mood." She simply said as though it was normal. Well of course it was...but only to her and those who are alike.

 "That's fucking awesome!" Matthew exclaimed. Chuckling Jade reached out and ruffled his hair. Pouting he whined, Jade simply giggled slightly at how predictable he was acting. The room then fell silent; it wasn't long after when a nurse walked into the room with the painkillers, shortly followed by a doctor. The room filled with a sent of death which only Jade could sense. Slowly her eyes glided across to the doctor and saw that he was a vampire. Rising out of her seat she grabbed him by the arm and led him outside. As she was doing so, she made sure that her eyes were the same colour as Matthew's to make the story she had come up with more believable.

 "If you dare hurt him I swear I'll kill you." She said low so people passing wouldn't be able to hear.

 "Why should you care about a worthless human?"

 "He's my brother." She said lying through her teeth. This was one of the main things that vampires were good at seen as they're the only predators of humans. Everything about them is made perfectly to lure humans in a false sense of hope.

 "You don't even look alike." The doctor argued. Jade had to think quickly on her feet; at this point she was glad that other vampires weren't able to read other vampires thoughts.

 "Well we're step brother and sister." She simply said, the vampire nodded. This was the only way that a vampire would accept a vampire caring about a human.

 While the doctor was looking at Matthew's injury Jade saw that his fangs came out. Leaping over the bed she pinned the doctor on the floor and growled. Leaving Matthew bewildered at what just happened.

 "What did I tell you?" She said growling. Simply the vampire pushed her off of him and rose to his feet. "Get out of here!" She exclaimed. The doctor did as she said.
